Bandwidth Modification and impact on GMPLS UNI Signalling
نویسنده
چکیده
This document analyzes whether the Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme (LCAS) will affect the TDM level GMPLS signalling at the UNI (as specified in UNI 1.0). LCAS defines a method to modify the bandwidth of an existing LSP. If LCAS is used for this purpose, the impact on GMPLS is not negligible. Alternatively, mechanisms similar to LCAS could be implemented into GMPLS, but there would be impact on other signalling mechanisms. This document analyzes situations that could initiate a change in LSP bandwidth and discusses alternative approaches for GMPLS. Differences between Ason and Gmpls Network Models
Generalized multiprotocol label switching (GMPLS) [1] is a set of network control protocols designed to realize a next-generation highperformance transport network that uses control plane functions. From the architectural perspective, GMPLS-based transport networks are divided into two categories. One is the automatically switched optical network (ASON) architecturebased transport network [2] o...
متن کاملGeneralized MPLS (GMPLS) Support for Metro Ethernet Forum and G.8011 User Network Interface (UNI)
This document describes a method for controlling two specific types of Ethernet switching via a GMPLS-based User Network Interface (UNI). This document supports the types of switching required by the Ethernet services that have been defined in the context of the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU) G.8011. This document is the UNI companion to "Generalized ...
متن کاملGMPLS. Towards a Common Control and Management Plane : Generalized Multiprotocol Label Switching in Optical Transport Networks (GMPLS)
The massive introduction of technical advances in the Transport Network (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing, optical Crossconnects and Add Drop multiplexers), forced by bandwidth demand growth, creates new needs to manage it in an efficient and integrated way via a Common Control and Management Plane..The Generalized Multiprotocol Label Switching has been for several years the subject of IE...
متن کاملGMPLS Fault Management and Its Impact on Service Resilience Differentiation
Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching (GMPLS) is currently under standardization. It basically reuses the MPLS control plane (IP routing and signaling) for various technologies such as fiber switching, DWDM, SONET, and packet MPLS. Since GMPLS runs in core networks, fault management is of major concern. However, fast fault recovery and backup capacity assignments are very expensive and not...

This paper investigates the effect of micropile installation into saturated sandy soil by means of finite element method. The obtained results from numerical modeling are compared with the received data from the site. The validation of software has been done by simulating standard penetration test. The effect of some changes in spacing (3m, 1.6m and 0.8m) and injection pressure (1cm, 2.5cm, 5cm...
